The liver uses the brain's electricity for generating the initial magnetic attraction for the uptake of mineral energy.  Anything that short circuits the brain's delivery of electricity to the liver will set the stage for degenerative changes in the liver.  This will effect the rest of the body.

The greatest causes of the brain's electrical flow to the liver are:
